Important information regarding the booking of monthly sites:
- When selecting the arrival and departure dates, use the following format-
- If using the first day of the month as arrival date – enter the departure date as the first day of the next month
- If using the 15th day of the month as arrival date – enter the departure date as of the 15th of the next month
By using this format, the reservation system will calculate the proper monthly amount due.

Wildcat Park and Landing is located just south of Brownsville, MN and is leased by Houston county from the United States Army Corps of Engineers.
The Army Corps of Engineers is the nation's largest provider of outdoor recreation, operating more than 2,500 recreation areas at 463 projects (mostly lakes) and leasing an additional 1,800 sites to state or local park and recreation authorities or private interests. USACE hosts about 360 million visits a year at its lakes, beaches and other areas, and estimates that 25 million Americans (one in ten) visit a Corps' project at least once a year.
Houston County must operate Wildcat Park and Landing in accordance to the Corps' guidelines.
In addition to this, Houston County has established specific Rules and Regulations regarding camping and day-use of the facility. At the present time, Wildcat Park features 62 campsites, 3 picnic shelters, 2 boat landings, and one fishing pier. Over 2/3 of the campsites include water and electricity.
